Porosity is a major issue in solidification processing of metallic materials.In this work,wedge die casting experiments were designed to investigate the effect of cooling rate on microporosity in an aluminum alloy A356.Microstructure information including dendrites and porosity were measured and observed by optical microscopy and X-ray micro-computed tomography(XMCT).The effects of cooling rate on secondary dendrite arm spacing(SDAS)and porosity were discussed.The relationship between SDAS and cooling rate was established and validated using a mathematical model.Three-dimensional(3-D)porosity information,including porosity percentage,pore volume,and pore number,was determined by XMCT.With the cooling rate decreasing from a lower to a higher position of the wedge die,the observed pore number decreases,the porosity percentage increases,and the equivalent pore radius increases.Sphericity of the pores was discussed as an empirical criterion to distinguish the types of porosity.For different cooling rates,the larger the equivalent pore radius is,the lower the sphericity of the pores.This research suggests that XMCT is a useful tool to provide critical 3-D porosity information for integrated computational materials engineering(ICME)design and process optimization of solidification products. 相似文献

当前俄罗斯正在进行立法改革以实现治理体系现代化,其中改革的重点是国家管理体系中的劳动保护、工业安全和突发事件的应急处理。过去的立法体系侧重于对受伤员工提供健康补偿和医疗救护,而新的立法体系则以预防为主,以期通过建立完善的风险管理机制和运行规则,提高安全生产水平、普及安全文化教育,保障员工的生命安全。新标准强调企业必须进行职业风险评估,并将职业风险评估纳入企业工作管理体系。论文以采金业为例,选取伊尔库茨克州波戴波区金矿露天采场为研究案例,探讨了现代化职业风险评估的方法,明确了职业风险评估首先要进行危害鉴别,编制了风险源管理档案清单。采用实测员工风险因素的“记分法”和数学模拟“矩阵法”完成了伊尔库茨克州波戴波区金矿露天采场主要职业的风险评估。研究表明: 在钻井爆破作业场所,由碎石的喷射、粉尘的排放和噪声效应引起的危险为不可接受风险,通过实施安全生产制度(即遵守安全标准和技术要求、为工人提供防护装备),可将高风险和不可接受风险化解为可接受风险;阐述了高风险职业,编制了风险手册,提出了改善工作条件的首要措施是消除影响爆破手和钻机操作员的有害因素,并为员工提供能更有效预防噪音和振动的个人防护用品。 相似文献

Neural networks with physical governing equations as constraints have recently created a new trend in machine learning research.In this context,a review of related research is first presented and discussed.The potential offered by such physics-informed deep learning models for computations in geomechanics is demonstrated by application to one-dimensional(1D)consolidation.The governing equation for 1D problems is applied as a constraint in the deep learning model.The deep learning model relies on automatic differentiation for applying the governing equation as a constraint,based on the mathematical approximations established by the neural network.The total loss is measured as a combination of the training loss(based on analytical and model predicted solutions)and the constraint loss(a requirement to satisfy the governing equation).Two classes of problems are considered:forward and inverse problems.The forward problems demonstrate the performance of a physically constrained neural network model in predicting solutions for 1D consolidation problems.Inverse problems show prediction of the coefficient of consolidation.Terzaghi’s problem,with varying boundary conditions,is used as a numerical example and the deep learning model shows a remarkable performance in both the forward and inverse problems.While the application demonstrated here is a simple 1D consolidation problem,such a deep learning model integrated with a physical law has significant implications for use in,such as,faster realtime numerical prediction for digital twins,numerical model reproducibility and constitutive model parameter optimization. 相似文献

In this study, gradual and sudden reduction methods were combined to simulate a progressive failure in notched composite plates using a macro mechanics approach. Using the presented method, a progressive failure is simulated based on a linear softening law prior to a catastrophic failure, and thereafter, sudden reduction methods are employed for modeling a progressive failure. This combination method significantly reduces the computational cost and is also capable of simultaneously predicting the first and last ply failures (LPFs) in composite plates. The proposed method is intended to predict the first ply failure (FPF), LPF, and dominant failure modes of carbon/epoxy and glass/epoxy notched composite plates. In addition, the effects of mechanical properties and different stacking sequences on the propagation of damage in notched composite plates were studied. The results of the presented method were compared with experimental data previously reported in the literature. By comparing the numerical and experimental data, it is revealed that the proposed method can accurately simulate the failure propagation in notched composite plates at a low computational cost. 相似文献

To preserve the environment for civilization, we should remove the pollutants like toxic dyes by friendly and cost efficacious method. In this study, the effect of surfactants or mixed surfactants on physicochemical, optical and adsorption properties of ternary mixed oxide CeO2-ZrO2-Al2O3 (CZA) are investigated. The ternary mixed oxide CZA was prepared by surfactants or mixed surfactants assisted ultrasonic co-precipitation method. The physicochemical and optical properties are estimated by different techniques like XRD, TEM, EDX, FTIR, SBET and UV–Vis/DR. The CZAT and CZAC have hybrid shapes and high surface area. The adsorption properties of ternary mixed oxides adsorbents were characterized by sono-removing anionic dyes such as Congo red (CR) and Remazol red RB-133 (RR). The different factors like contact time, different dye concentrations and temperatures also studied. The kinetics and isotherms applications showed that, the adsorption process was followed pseudo second order kinetics and the Freundlich isotherm model. Also, the adsorption is spontaneous and endothermic process through the thermodynamic study. Finally, the results showed that the ternary mixed oxide nano-adsorbent (CeO2-ZrO2-Al2O3) is promising and functional materials for anionic dye sweep from wastewater. 相似文献

Herein, the rational design micromilieus involved silk fibroin (SF)-based materials have been used to encapsulate the osteoblasts, forming an extracellular coated shell on the cells, which exhibited the high potential to shift the regulation of osteoblasts to osteocytes by encapsulation cues. SF coating treated cells showed a change in cell morphology from osteoblasts-like to osteocytes-like shape compared with untreated ones. Moreover, the expression of alkaline phosphatase (ALP), collagen I (Col I) and osteocalcin (OCN) further indicated a potential approach for inducing osteoblasts regulation, which typically accelerates calcium deposition and cell calcification, presenting a key role for the SF encapsulation in controlling osteoblasts behavior. This discovery showed that SF-based cell encapsulation could be used for osteoblasts behavior regulation, which offers a great potential to modulate mammalian cells’ phenotype involving alternating surrounding cues. 相似文献

A comprehensive thermo-economic model combining a geothermal heat mining system and a direct supercritical CO2 turbine expansion electric power generation system was proposed in this paper. Assisted by this integrated model, thermo-economic and optimization analyses for the key design parameters of the whole system including the geothermal well pattern and operational conditions were performed to obtain a minimal levelized cost of electricity (LCOE). Specifically, in geothermal heat extraction simulation, an integrated wellbore-reservoir system model (T2Well/ECO2N) was used to generate a database for creating a fast, predictive, and compatible geothermal heat mining model by employing a response surface methodology. A parametric study was conducted to demonstrate the impact of turbine discharge pressure, injection and production well distance, CO2 injection flowrate, CO2 injection temperature, and monitored production well bottom pressure on LCOE, system thermal efficiency, and capital cost. It was found that for a 100 MWe power plant, a minimal LCOE of $0.177/kWh was achieved for a 20-year steady operation without considering CO2 sequestration credit. In addition, when CO2 sequestration credit is $1.00/t, an LCOE breakeven point compared to a conventional geothermal power plant is achieved and a breakpoint for generating electric power generation at no cost was achieved for a sequestration credit of $2.05/t. 相似文献

The new digital fabrication method of robotic 3D printing is a research area being studied by many to tackle the issue of the declining productivity of traditional construction methods. In order to bridge the gap, this article proposed a mass customization 3D printing framework system for large-scale projects. This article discusses how mass customization is made possible through the joint operation of the FUROBOT software and 3D printing hardware.
